Every year the Volcom Pufferfish Surf Series Big Island event goes off and I'm there to capture it all on camera! The forecast was looking pretty grim for Banyans so we were forced to move the contest to the beautiful and consistent Pohoiki Beach Park, on the East coast of the island. The word spread quickly, and Saturday morning was packed. The waves were a rippable 2-3 feet and despite the morning glare and downpours... the contest was on!
