Shawn Pila

Shawn is an all-time thrill seeker who enjoys surfing and exploring the outdoors with family, friends and visitors. His unique ability to perform in nature and his knack for extreme sports has allowed him to work on projects involving major backcountry expeditions around the world. The Big Island native has been working in the Hawaii film industry since 2009 and has filmed on location in remote parts of Hawaii, Indonesia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Japan, Australia and Papua New Guinea.

Credits include Brazilian television shows Kaiak and Planeta Extremo, and projects for Volcom, Patagonia, Mitsubishi, TNT Energy Drink, FreeSurf Magazine, Billabong SurfTV, Nickipedia, GTV Corporation and Globo TV Network.
