I think the coolest thing about these gigs is not only being able to work on beautiful locations but being able to hire 15 of your friends to help pull it off. The sun was shinning, the weather was sweet and day two of our 3-day HYUNDAI commercial shoot was underway. Things were finally running smoothly and all locations were exactly what the team had wished for. Special thanks to Connie Alicino and Austin Everette for the long hours and handling all production logistics, and to Greer Chaldekas for your hard work and helping me run a tight locations team.

NBC Sports | IRONMAN World Championships 2016
The 2016 IRONMAN World Championships was as heated as always with top triathletes from around the globe along with thousands of qualifying age groupers, including men and women over the age of 70, disabled and paraplegic athletes, war veterans, severely burned victims like Turia Pitt, and even your average Joe. This is by far the most inspiring event that I have ever been a part of and I will hopefully compete sometime soon.

The 2016 Emmy Awards red carpet event was quite the sight to see, and thanks to my mate Brandon Stech at E! Enertainmet I was lucky enough to experience it first hand. Nickelodeon | Paradise Run!
It was an honor and a privilege to work along side Executive Producers, Scott Stone and Marcus Fox, and an awesome group of friends for another season of Nickelodeon's, Paradise Run! This was an intense but fun 5-week project that took place at the Big Islands very own, Hilton Waikoloa Village.

Patagonia x Deep Water Surf | Hawaii Island
When you've got a solid crew to surf with, the shorter trips can be just as fun as chasing swell halfway around the world. In the latest episode of Deep Water Surf, Oahu big wave surfer Kohl Christensen and Brazilian pro surfer Danilo Couto link up with my mates Robert Patterson and Mikey O'Shaughnessy for a few sessions in rural Hawaii. It doesn't take long to see that the Big Island boys have the good life pretty well dialed in.

Over the next year I will be collaborating with fine artist, Kristie Kosmides, on a project that explores connections between humanity and the ocean through figurative works in paint and photography. Our purpose is to express the importance of our relationship with the ocean and humankind in hopes to bring awareness to conservation and care for both.

The Can If Can Jam Too!!
The Can If Can Jam (CICJ) is a concert, fundraiser and food drive for the Hawaii Food Basket and Hilo Skateplaza Coalition. Fellow musician, Scott Wagner, and I hosted the very first CICJ back in 2010 at the Hilo Bandstand. Six years later and here were are with more than double the amount of support and another chance to celebrate as we give back to our beloved community.
On Saturday, February 27th, at the Hilo Town Tavern, we were able to collect 186 pounds of food that was gratefully donated to the Hawaii Food Basket, helping to feed families in the Hawaii County. We were also fortunate enough to raise a grand total of $562.00 that will be used towards the Hilo Skateplaza.

I was fortunate enough to hop onboard as production support and second camera thanks to fellow Southern California filmmaker, Ryan Moss.

Saucony | The Running Astronomer
As part of our “Seeker Series,” we recently traveled to the Big Island of Hawaii to film Michelle Collins, “The Running Astronomer.” A Hubble Fellow at Yale University, Michelle spends her days studying the origins of the cosmos. Running is big part of her daily routine; Michelle not only loves the sport, but also utilizes the time while running to come at her work from a different perspective, think more clearly and maybe even have an “aha” moment or two.

Mitsubishi 4x4 | Adventure Hawaii with Carlos Burle
Brazilian action sports photographer, Alexadre Socci, invited me to Oahu's North Shore to help produce a short film about a family who won a trip to Hawaii with Mitsubishi 4x4 and Brazilian big wave surfer, Carlos Burle. It was an action filled week with good friends, great food and tow-in surfing at some of Hawaii's top outer reef breaks. It's jobs like these that keep me going. Mahalo Ale!

VOLCOM | Pufferfish Surf Series - Pohoiki 2011
Every year the Volcom Pufferfish Surf Series Big Island event goes off and I'm there to capture it all on camera! The forecast was looking pretty grim for Banyans so we were forced to move the contest to the beautiful and consistent Pohoiki Beach Park, on the East coast of the island. The word spread quickly, and Saturday morning was packed. The waves were a rippable 2-3 feet and despite the morning glare and downpours... the contest was on!
